La Dorgonne farmhouse, situated on the southern foothills of Luberon, is a charming getaway at the heart of the natural regional park of Luberon, where many cottages and country houses still preserve their authenticity and their architectural heritage dating back to the medieval or roman times.

La Dorgonne farmhouse boasts a swimming pool and is located on a small road in the southern part of Luberon, in Provence, 3 km away from La Tour d’Aigues village.

The hideaway is a majestic residence, stretching over 600 m², adjacent to country houses dating back to the 17th, the 18th and the 19th centuries, blending beautifully with the landscape and with each other.

The ramp staircase, typical of 17th century farmhouses, leads to floors with spacious rooms and suites.

Our guest house has 4 double rooms and 2 suites ( the suite has a double bedroom and a single bedroom) with their en-suite bathrooms and restrooms. The floors are fitted with terracotta from Burgundy or red-colored traditional waxed floor tiles, typical of the area of French Provence.

You will enjoy lovely moments with family or friends on the shady terrace of the farmhouse, overlooking a picturesque landscape of plains and valleys with romantic undertones, and you will get to sip wines that will wake up your palate.

The large gravel terrace offers a wide, breathtaking and private view over the valley and the foothills of the Grand Luberon. Century-old plane trees and a beautiful lime tree form another enjoyable sight which also provide shade in summer. A little further, near a pond and a mulberry tree, a small swimming pool is nestled in a small prairie, adding charm to the soothing setting.

On the right, at the entrance, the dining room features a big table fitting many guests. With the antique vintage crockery, the crystal glasses and the Dutch painting from the 18th century representing a hunting scene, the atmosphere is reminiscent of the past.

On the left, towards the entrance, two double windows offer a view over the tranquil landscape. On the walls, an 18th century vintage tapestry adorn the wall. A beautiful 18th century carved wooden fireplace and brightly colored armchairs complete the interior. You can also sit and unwind on the three large sofas placed facing the mountains.

The kitchens stands at the center of the residence. It opens to the terrace and has arched windows and a big fieldstone fireplace.

It is fully equipped with a wooden work surface, a semi-professional Rosière stove, a farm-style dining table and wooden benches.
